Today was one of those days.
Apparently, my entire cooling system failed and melted down like Chernobyl. The first question the friendly service manager asked was if Vanessa’s married name was Loftus. I knew then we were talking warranty (Vanessa bought the car before we were married) and that that was good. $1,500 in damages -$500 deductible (which I actually am aware of and was not a surprise) plus a new battery (the battery in there is the original from 04) and the 90,000 mile service…
I pay $611+tax= $659.88
Awesome… and I don’t have to buy a new used car.
